2006 MS. FITNESS & PHYSIQUE MILE HIGH – TOP 5 FINALISTS April 15th, 2006 Camala Rodriquez Emily Green Gaye Woods Joni Carey Leah Pingels CAMALA RODRIGUEZ 2006 MS. PHYSIQUE MILE HIGH Tie for 2nd Place at Ms. Fitness Mile High Camala is a personal trainer and part time student. Ever since she saw a competition on television five years ago, she knew she could use her best talents to be #1 with the correct training and guidance. She was on her high school State Champion Co-Ed cheer squad which earned her a full scholarship to college. Her goals are to win lots of fitness competitions and to finish school so she can continue with life success. She would like to thank her friend and training partner Alex Greco for pushing her hard. FITNESS MILE HIGH- Tie for 2nd Place Ms Physique Mile High- 3rd Place Emily is a full time RN and a poison information specialist by day and a Club DJ by night. She is 29 years old and has been married to her husband, Ben, for three years. Emily decided to compete because after having so much fun competing in physique last year, she got the itch to do it again but to do a fitness competition this year. Emily’s greatest achievement was getting sober 2 years ago, obtaining her RN license, and becoming the healthiest she has ever been in her life. Emily’s scrapbook coming soon! Back to top GAYE WOODS 2006 MASTERS PHYSIQUE CHAMPION Ms. Fitness Mile High- 4th Place Gaye is a 45 year old mother of three and a full time Executive Recruiter & Trainer. she decided to compete because she wanted to challenge herself toward a “personal best” in body transformation and more importantly, learn how to be “fit for life”! Her commitment to this change process meant some serious schedule adjustments, including gong to bed early, balancing family coverage with her husband and 5:00am training sessions. An added benefit has been seeing how much of what she’s adopted as lifestyle can influence the entire family in food choices, and raising a consciousness for fitness and good health. She proves to herself that she can balance motherhood, a full time career and pursuing her fitness goals. Joni’s hobbies include cooking, working out, fishing, camping, hiking, anything sports related and spending time with her son. Since her win at the show, she’s been hired as a “Body Photage” fitness model and is currently gathering sponsors to help her compete at Fitness Nationals in Las Vegas, NV in September 2006! She would like to thank Tiffany and Angel at Body Statement for inspiring her and motivating her to achieve her goals with hard work, balance, and dedication. And also to her family and friends who have supported her along the way! She is a full time R.N., wife to Brad and a mom of two young girls, Hayley who is 3 years and Kinsey who just turned 1. Her fitness goals include competing in national and international fitness competitions and would eventually love to qualify for the Ms. Fitness USA! Leah decided to compete because she needed a goal to work towards in order to keep herself motivated to improve her physique and level of fitness.
